Official title: Linhas de orientacao para os contactos com a delegacao da ONU
Contents: Guidelines for Dili’s provisory administrators regarding the United Nations' visit to the capital. The document contains explicit restrictions on certain behaviors and symbols, and also certain places (those that were still under military activities) where they could not take the UN to visit. It also established a pattern of conversation that party leaders (APODETI, UDT, KOTA and LABOR) should follow with the UN delegation, mostly incriminating FRETILIN as communists. Provides answers to the possible questions the UN may have asked about the provisory administration in general.

Cover of a dossier by CDPM promoting, along with the other international delegations at Newspaper Avante's 82 party, a journey of solidarity to East Timor. According to the document, 1982 was strongly marked by an Indonesian diplomatic offensive in the international arena, and so, it was necessary to foment solidarity in the country and support for FRETILIN as well.

Letter Antônio Pinto Barbedo de Magalhães – Portuguese Authorities 1983-02-21

Letter by CDPM to the President of Portugal, President of the Assembly, Ministry of Foreign Business, Prime Ministry and other authorities to express their gratitude for Portuguese diplomatic action toward the recently approved UN resolution affirming the right to self-determination and independence for East Timor. CDPM reaffirms their wishes to keep working together with the Portuguese authorities and proposes some specific actions to be taken by the Government regarding the increased conquest of Timorese people, such as: i. the creation of a group of countries with common contact to cooperate with Portugal in the self-determination process; ii. creation of a Commission of National Work to deal with the questions related to East Timor only; iii. definition of national and international strategies to look for effective solutions; iv. realization of a Cultural Week of Maubere; v. realization of an international conference about East Timor to deal with human rights and international law issues, etc.

Official title: Letter from the Bishop’s Conference of Indonesia
Contents: Letter from the Bishop of Indonesia to Dom Carlos Felipe Ximenes Belo, Priests, Brothers and Sisters of the diocese of Dili expressing his compassion, solidarity and friendship regarding the suffering of Timorese people and explaining that this compassion should not be seen as a support to any movement of any sides involved on the conflict, since the Indonesian Catholic Church cannot express a political position. The Indonesian Church offers to do their best to relieve the people of East Timor from suffering, which in practice meant: giving special attention to the education of children and youth in the Diocese of Dili by the revitalization of schools; sending medicine for the sick and wounded; providing tools and equipment to workmen, etc.

Letter Virgilio dos Anjos - Capitan Stevenson 1984-03

Letter by Virgilio dos Anjos communicating the death of his father to Capitan Stevenson, an old friend of him. The death was a reprisal to the resistance movement and its last actions. It also exposes the relation between the Timor resistance movement and the Australian guerilla, punctuating, with details, persecutions and censure his family needed to deal with. It finishes asking to Capitan Stevenson to join the mobilization of Australia public opinion in favor of Timorese struggle.

Press Release Comissão para os Direitos do Povo Maubere (CDPM) 1984-07-11

Press release concerning the meeting between CDPM and some Portuguese authorities where CDPM exposed its deep concerns. As they say, it is not enough that a few Portuguese organs of sovereignty manifest their solidarity with the Maubere people, instead, Portugal is a key actor in this struggle and should position itself as one. They also state that human rights violations in East Timor begin with the non-recognition of the Timorese right to self-determination and that Portugal should accept FRETILIN as the only movement to national liberation, aligning itself diplomatically to FRETILIN's efforts in the international arena.

Other Zeca Afonso 1985

Speech from the party in honor of Zeca Afonso recalling his struggle and dedication to East Timor and sharing the responsibilities and duties of the Portuguese to fight against the inertia of the Portuguese Government. The speech also broaches the following topics: Xanana Gusmão's importance; the necessity of pressuring the United Nations; the negotiation process; the three positions of CDPM to end the struggle: 1- There is no negotiation without legitimates representatives of FRETILIN, 2- The Portuguese Government should press for a political solution that leads to the true self-determination of Timor, 3- A strong Diplomatic campaign by Portuga is necessary, along with European and non-Europeans allies, to press the international community and see results. Report CDPM / ISMUN 1985-10-14

Report by CDPM of a Conference held by the United Nations in El Puerto, Spain for young students from over 50 countries where they discussed themes related to peace, human rights, Third World economies, development, etc. During the meeting, the Movement of Young Students of the United Nations (ISMUN, in Portuguese) deliberated over a resolution where they asked Indonesia to immediately remove their army from Timor, to restart the negotiation process begun in 1983, and appealing to all associated members of ISMUN to support East Timor's self-determination at the level of UN and other international forums.
